Giving Thanks…..

Thank you! 2015 has been a year of innovative changes here at R4 Services. We are very excited about our progress and advancements as we strive to stay ahead of the industry.   Our new software program, VCKweb is being well received by our clients. We’ve also been busy improving our social media presence, including a brand new website and becoming more active on Facebook and Twitter.  This summer, we purchased our first mobile shredder and we are excited to add curb side destruction to our service offerings.

These advancements in technology and services bring such an overwhelming warm feeling of thanks.  Our growth is 100% driven by our client’s needs.  We feel so fortunate to have the best clients in the records industry.  We enjoy working together each and every day as we take on challenges and provide results driven solutions to continue to operate as an extension of our client’s information management programs.  

Thank you to all of our valued clients.  I hope I say enough, how much we appreciate your knowledge, experience, and mostly, your friendship.  I look forward to continuing these relationships in the years ahead.

Developing an Information Management Policy

Does your business have an information management policy in place? If not, it’s time to consult with an expert and develop one that protects your business and ensures that protected information doesn’t fall into the wrong hands.

Here are three reasons why it’s important to have an active and effective information management policy:
  1. Compliance.​  An information management policy allows for companies to remain compliant within their field for managing documents and critical records. It provides a safeguard for ensuring that documents are retained for a certain amount of time and then securely destroyed.​
  2. Education.​  Without an information management policy, employees don’t know the proper protocol and procedures to managing the information that they receive. Employees should all know what needs to be stored, what needs to be destroyed, and what needs to be retained for a given time period. This is critical to the overall success of the business.
